This guy over at the RPG Maker VX community, he’s been working on a Harvest Moon styled inventory for me. I’ve had a lot of … specific requirements, and I haven’t heard him complain, and he’s been working on it for a while. What a nice guy, isn’t he? It’s almost done (more or less) and he’s still working out some kinks and I’m still suggesting stuff. Once the script is done, it’ll be released to public so anyone can use a Harvest Moon styled inventory and customize it in any way they want! Yes, a lot of customization was one of the requirements haha. Anyways, let me show you what it looks like right now in my game:
The icons are a little off, but that will probably get fixed later on. Right now he’s working out on what should happen when your inventory is full and the player receives an item. I still think it looks great! You can expand how many slots you want the player to have, and the great thing about it all; is that you can use a background image for your inventory. You can choose between a regular windowbox, or use your own inventory for more customization. Right now what you’re seeing is an image background created by me to fit Tailor Tales. I think it looks cute. Cant wait for it to be finished and completely working.
In other news, I’ve been tinkering around a bit with the titlescreen and removed the default windowbox and turned it into this instead:
Oh, right, I forgot; I have upgraded the Tailor Tales logo, made it a bit more 3D and shiny.
